Well, it looks like Robby Gordon who drives the #7 car in NASCAR has been found in violation of a few NASCAR rules.
The violations were as follows....

Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used do not conform to NASCAR rules); and 20-3.10A (unapproved front bumper cover) of the 2008 NASCAR rule book.

These infractions were found during an inspection at Daytona.

Gordon's crew chief, Frank Kerr was also fined $100,000 and suspended for the next 6 races.

At Daytona, Gordon finished 9th but since the violations he loses 100 driver points and is now in 40th place in the standings.

i don't know if you've heard about this but robby's fine has been increased. but the points docked were reduced. good for robby as am sure chrysler wil pick up that tab. :D anyway, that nose is one of theirs. makes me think that the parts they supply to drivers are just as "unreliable" as their other auto parts.

Yes, I seen that. His crew chief's fine went to $150,000 but they took back his 6 race suspension. And yes, Robbie got his 100 points back.
