Now they signed Tim Preston as technical director, and want Sato as one of their drivers.
I wouldn't mind another team next season, but I have a tough time believing that they will make it in time for the start of 2006. No point in starting as season when you're just not up for it, logistically and all.

I don't know if this is a good thing for F1. Having more cars is "cool" for the spectators, but is it any good for the show? I would preffer a grid with 5-6 teams competing for points/podiums, rather than a grid with 11-12 teams, with at least 3-4 teams lapping 3-4 seconds away from the pace. More cars, yes, but overall less competitive

what carlis says is true, but its hard to do that. like in 1994 when there were many cars, less than half or so were fitin for the podium right?
So probably such a scenario is not likely, that they should stick to the more the better. :!:

There's lots of media hype surrounding this new team. F1 teams from scratch have, in recent history, had disastrous starts. That's why Suzuki is praying for help for Honda. Count on another backmarker for 2006. :(

The FIA just published the official entry list for 2006, and Super Aguri is not in it!!!
Personally, I think this is a good thing

Apparently they are really close to cutting the deal and making it into next season, lol with a 4 year old Arrows maybe!

A 4 years old Arrows+a dangerous driver like Takuma Sato behind the wheel... :?

Sato is not a driver. He can't drive. Some people just are not grateful for having an F1 seat, cause they know their sitting on money.

Well, as you probably have all heard Mr. Aguri has secured himself the approval of the FIA. In addition, he's got a contact with Bridgestone two.
Guess we'll be enjoying two more backmarkers
