I wanted to make sure you all saw this but MIS said that they are very interested in getting a unified series back to their track!
To me this is great news, as this was one of the races I most looked forward to going to and seeing every year. As far as racing I think it was better to be at that track than Indianapolis.
It seemed like they left the door open this year, but I really believe that they want the IRL back in 2009 if they don't get it this year.
