Haa ahahaaa:lol: I was thinking almost the same thing:lol:

I was thinking it's not much bigger than a soccer pitch:eek: Ok, maybe two:lol:

Pretty good view from the stands though. I'd get dizzy and puke on the guy in front of me from watching the race me thinks:sick::lol::drunk:

That does sound funny. Its actually the shortest track that NASCAR runs on. Its even slightly shorter than Bristol. This track has been called " 2 drag strips with a couple turnarounds".

Short, close tracks like this make for some tight fender to fender racing and they can get interesting.

I'm glad you said interesting, and not Exciting:lol: I can see a pack of 5-10 cars either, taking each other out, or that's how the race ends.

3 Wide is one thing, but 3 wide and 4 deep doesn't make for a very exciting race to me:wonder: It's basically push to pass racing is what it is. Meh.. Prolly not as dangerous on a short track I suppose.

Yeah, racing on a short oval is a different monster thats for sure. It can get quite congested.;)

And not to mention that you can watch the first 5 laps, go play a round of golf, and catch the last 10 laps in the 19th hole since NASCAR races average 3-5 hours in length. It is a journey if you make it.

There is a reason why people bring marine-size coolers filled with beer and alcohol to these races. It's the only way to get through the whole race. And when someone does get a decent lead, NASCAR will throw a 'debris' caution even if there is no debris to make things close. And NASCAR wonders why their ratings have been going down in the past years.

Start treating your fans like adults NASCAR instead of 5 year olds, which it seems like you cater to.

I hate to bring up the blatantly obvious, but there is a massive contingent of NASCAR fans that actually do act like 5 year olds:huh:

You might find few more middle and upper-middle class racing fans actually show a little more interest in these series' if they weren't sullied by white-trash morons:rolleyes:.

Present company excluded of course:lol::whistling:

Good race. I think the COT car makes the racing better there. Been to the track a few time, live is always better than TV. But I would have hated to be freezing there today.

I enjoyed the race today. It was a good one. Those short tracks run many laps but the last 100 is where the real racing begins. Lots of bumping and pushing. Trading the paint !:)

That's the best part about short tracks ;)

Who's played smart and picked the right line/driver to race with. Sure it's traffic jam, but it's always great to see who's getting the upper hand through bumping or drafting.

Did you see Scott Speed starting in the back of that massive traffic then weaving back and forth between 20 different trucks and he ended up finishing 10th? :D
And not to mention that you can watch the first 5 laps, go play a round of golf, and catch the last 10 laps in the 19th hole since NASCAR races average 3-5 hours in length. It is a journey if you make it.

Start treating your fans like adults NASCAR instead of 5 year olds, which it seems like you cater to.

What about people like John Andretti, Ken Schrader, Travis Kvapil and others just killing to stay on the lead lap? Without caution flags it'll be 5 cars lapped the whole field and it'll only come down to a 1-2 contested car finish.

I dont know about you, but the main reason why I didn't like F1 too much was because it was always 1-2 cars with a 5 minute lead over the rest of the field. I'd much rather NASCAR keeping it close compared to road courses o..m..g...he's extended his lead to 2 more minutes...

I mean, I always beg for cautions because the people I want to do good are close to being lapped. They get a caution then fix their cars better then they do their best and finish well. On a road course? FORGET IT.

The more cautions the better. Besides, NASCAR doesn't give a crap about who wins or who's in the lead. Remember Jeff Gordon's massive lead at Sonoma? Brandon Ash spun three times and NASCAR neglected to wave out a caution. I mean COME ON. NASCAR doesn't throw too much cautions they throw TOO LITTLE with all that carnaige in NASCAR. Remember when Travis Kvapil's car leaked oil and NASCAR didn't throw a caution and ended up three guys taken out? Or are you just someone completely ignorant and just want to criticize NASCAR for the heck of it....
