View Full Version : Annoyed with Mouses

This day could have started in a better way. About two minutes into my daily routine of Batracer the scroll wheel on my mouse just ceased to function. It must be something mechanical as the wheel it self now rotates without any resistance. I went to get a small tipped screwdriver to see if there was anything I could do, but I can't find any screwdrivers of the right size. I just bought a set of small ones, but it's gone! It just decided to hide when I for once need it.
Working without a scroll wheel when you're used to it is like having an arm cut off or something. :mad: :banghead: :mad:

Does the wheel still work? I have a option to set the wheel to rotate w/o resist and back in my mouse, maybe you have the same? :)

Well, the wheel still spins, but no scrolling. The mouse is very much option-less (I guess you get what you pay for). Managed to dig out an old mouse to use as a replacement, but it just doesn't feel the way it should. Talk about problems. :lol:

Well, the pgup/pgdown keys are on my numeric keyboard (on a notebook) and then I'd need to num lock the numeric keyboard.... and I tend to use that quite a lot. So....
Whaaaa whaaa etc. :cry: :D

I feel your pain DB:banghead: The scroll went on this one months ago. I just haven't gotten around to replacing it yet.. It doesn't appear serviceable either. Not a single screw to get into it. Maybe I have to shuck it like an oyster:huh:
Born to suffer:rolleyes::lol:

The thread title should be "Annoyed with Mouses" As the plural of mouse referring to to computer hardware is a headless noun.

Don't blame me, the original title was "Annoyed", as I was both annoyed with my mouse and with not finding the correct screwdriver and people in general (the last is my constant state though). :D
But then the fascists stepped in and took control. :whistling: :lol:

Haha :lol:, I know how you feel. The most annoying thing is a mouse without a functional scroll wheel, especially if you've gotten used to it.
As for the fascists, please let me know who they are via PM and I will ban them :lol: :p
