Just got to watch my 1st WSBK race. Pretty good. I don't really know anyone here but I can root for my Ducatis and my GSX-R's. So it was a great battle for P1.....right until Checa(?SP) crashed out the leader on the last lap going for an aggressive pass. The leader (sorry, forgot his name) was out but Checa got the bike back up to take P5. Not bad.

That's pretty good racing eh?!? You mean you haven't seen ANY before:huh:
Yeah that was Carlos Checa. He had a blistering pace! To get to where he was, from where he was, was unbelievable! And that was WSBK rookie Max Neukirchner who he took out. To bad for Max. He got superpole and was having the race of a lifetime. It was the last corner Checa really had a chance to pass and it went... Well, you saw it.. I'm sure Lorenzo Lanzi didn't mind:lol::finishfirst:
Soo many riders going down at the start! Full tanks and cold front tyres aren't a good mix:wonder: Nori really has to get himself together. He's really having a tough start, although, it looks like he won race 2 (which I have yet to see:rolleyes:).
60,000 people showed up for the race in Valencia! A new record for WSBK there:thumbsup:
I'll put up the highlights when they become available:D

Nope, never watched WSBK. I watched AMA Superbike for a few years and slowly worked in to MotoGP. I only knew Rossi in MotoGP and I hate Yamahas. I saw that the WSBK bikes are the 1000cc class so I plan to watch many more. I was rooting for Ducatis not drivers.

And here's something you don't see every day:eek:
Greg Black has a really bad day. Marshmallows toasted over an open R6 fire anyone? The burning chicane comes to motorsport!:lol:
Better luck next time Greg!;)

That was a dangerous place to lose control. Why did the bike catch fire though? I'm assuming the fuel tank ruptured upon impact? :wonder:

Looks like I've picked my WSBK picks are. Team Xerox Ducati and then Sterilgarda Go Eleven Ducati. Gotta back my Ducatis and I think I can remember the riders names easier. :p:lol:
Bayliss / Fabrizio
and
Biaggi / Xaus
Now to decide on Super Sport.
