This MotoGP season will be interesting, especially at FIAT/Yamaha where arrogant rookie and major talent Jorge Lorenzo joined Rossi as team mate.

The interesting part is that both of them run on different tyres. Rossi changed to Bridgestone and Lorenzo runs on Michelin.

Lorenzo is with 61 points joining the lead with Pedrosa while Rossi has 41. Michelin seems to have a slight edge on Bridgestone, especially the qualifying tyres.

What are your thought about the two and the fact they are running on different tyres? Good move from the team if you ask me.

It's still pretty early in the season to say for sure.

I'm not sure I'd call Lorenzo 'arrogant' (although I've never met him personally), but definitely confident;).

I started a thread about the tyre split late last year. Check it out;)

Sorry, didn't noticed about the other post.

I don't dislike Lorenzo though, he's just on the edge of confident/arrogance..

As a rookie he already made troubles on the track with Stoner and Hopkins. There is also something called as respect for people who's been there for years.

Also something Lewis Hamilton was lacking on as a rookie.

I've been watching this season quite a bit more than before. There is much speculation that Rossi will be getting stronger throughout the season on the tracks that the Bridgestones are stronger on. The slower start was expected. Should make for an interesting team battle. I'm hopeful that their battle allows Stoner and co. to jump ahead.
