Where Did Derek Hayes Go?

Well well
I'm looking for Derek hayes who who in french formule3 in 2002. I've done my best but I can't find him.

He is a former Irish stock car racer. As far as I know, he did alright, finishing 3rd in the 2001 British F3 championship.

After that he competed in the Days of Thunder Series, and that is where the statistics trail ends. I'm assuming he stopped racing, the reasons for which are a mystery to me :wonder:
