Well, the good ol' boys are racing this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. If you F1 guys watch 1 NASCAR race, watch this one. Talladega is a good race. The track is long, wide and high banked. Good racing here. The race is tomorrow, April 27th. Coverage begins at 1:00pm Eastern on FOX.

Joe Nemechek takes the poll for this race. This is a name you dont see on top of the grid.

** On a side note, Dario Franchitti was injured in a crash today during the Nationwide race at Talladega. His rear tire went out and struck the wall on the 10th lap. But then Larry Gunselman's car slammed into the driver side of Dario's car. Dario was taken away in a stretcher. Dario injured his ankle. He is supposed to race tomorrow but unsure now if he can. **

The Nationwide race was interestingly better. But I wonder when Franchitti would return?

Franchitti will be out for the next 2 races, and probably at least a month.
