Well, the All-Star Race is in the books. It took place lastnight down at Lowe's Motor Speedway..." The Beast from the Southeast".
It was an exciting night of racing lastnight. Starting off with the Spring Showdown in which the non-qualified drivers for the All-Star Race competed for thier chance to race in the All-Star Race.
The All-Star Race winner is awarded a million bucks! Not a bad paycheck for winning a night's race. This race however does not count on championship points but only for bragging rights.
As they say with this race.... "Checkers or Wreckers".:lol:
I first want to give my kudos to Sam Hornish Jr. This guy finished second in the showdown and earned him a spot in the all-star race where he finished 7th! Way to go Sam!!:thumbsup:
AJ Allmendinger won the showdown earning his spot. The other spot was earned by Kasey Kahne by getting the most votes by fans who vote who they want to see in the race so he got the most votes and got in the race and this kid won it!:eek: Good job Kasey.
