Rossi takes win at Le Mans '08

That makes it back to back wins for Vale! :finishfirst: Putting him on top of the '08 standings. Following him to second was team mate, and veritable Iron Man, Jorge Lorenzo coming of what can only be described as a painful and difficult past few weeks. And a nice third for good ol' Colin Edwards:D

This puts Vale in a tie with Ange Nieto for the record all time most Grands Prix victories of all time:eek: Amazing!?! Maybe. Fun to watch? No question:D

Casey Stoner had a hell day with his bike crapping out on lap 20 and pushed it himself all the way to the pits to grab his second bike, but it was pretty much a moot point by then. Gotta give him credit for his determination though:thumbsup:

Indeed a great race from Rossi but also a terrific last 10 laps from Lorenzo that closed the gap on the trio Pedrosa, Stoner and Edwards that were battling for 2nd place and overtook them right away to clinch 2nd place.

Stoner was doing ok for a bit. I was disappointed that he had all those problems. I was hoping for at least a podium. Then there was the chain break. That's pretty rare these days.
