Its not a fair comparison when it comes to laptimes and there's 20 years between them. :lol:

LOTUS= 800BHP, 1.5L V6 Turbo
vs
Ferrari= 770BHP, 2.4L V8

It's just interesting to see what 20 years can do. Although Lotus had an active suspension 20 years ago that eliminated every vertical movement with 3000 calculations per second.

edit: btw.. the goal from the FIA the last couple of years was to slow down the cars and make them safer. They would be another 10 seconds faster without aero limitations and slick tyres. They wouldn't even need a 3liter engine or turbo! :D

No question! Personally I'd love to see them get 'back to basics'.

There is just something almost 'Romantic' about the cars from 20 some years ago. Nevertheless, great find vid-wise:thumbsup:

The thing I noticed immediately (other than the Megadeath song) was the sound of the Lotus compared to Kimi's Ferrari. LOVE IT! :thumbsup:
