As much as I'm a McLaren supporter, history tells me, at least since 2000, that reliability might be a problem once again.

Although the media likes to exaggerate the issue a bit, the McLaren PR Team continues to insist that their V8 engine has no problems, and that the reason they are not running it is the fact that the new chassis is not ready yet.

As far as reliability of the engine itself goes, they do not need a car to test that. That's obvious, cause you can put it on a test rack for weeks and develop it from there.

Of course cooling issues etc. might prove to be different, but CFD modelling should solve that too, really.

So in theory, actually as always, everything looks good on paper. I really hope that it plays out this season, especially for Raikkonen. 8)

Well Kimi's really had his share of bad luck in the past couple of seasons, i think that maybe this time he'll have his share of winning, if not the championship than maybe a whole bunch of races. But to tell you honestly i can't rememeber where i saw the picture of the new McLaren, they might say its more reliable, but you never know that's what they kept saying last season as well. And now with the new rules implemented, i dont think that McLaren can state with full confidence that everything is gonna work perfectly. As said it looks good on paper, but in practice it hasn't looked too good in the past.
And lastly, im not too sure the orange works for them. A picture posted would clarify what i'm saying :P

Mclaren sucks bigtime. They have loads of cash, but when it comes to coordination they just suck. Ferrari is going to speed to victory this season.

After the first tests it doesnt look too bright for McLaren that's true. But to say ferrari is gonna grab the title, doesn't seem too correct either. They don't look like they're back on their feet just yet. I have a feeling a few teams at the back of the grid are gonna be in the position to maybe even snatch the title. From what it looks like perhaps there's no harm in placing a bet on BAR...maybe?
