This idea comes from luger's article...

As an author, you want to have feedback about your work but, unfortunately, most persons are not willing to tell you: "I didin't like this and that" or will just not take the time to seat down and write their opinion.

As a "partial" solution for this, I was thinking about implementing a grading scheme for the articles. After the article, it can be a question: "How do you rate this article?" on which the user will have to chose a "grade" for it... from 0 stars to 5 stars or something like that.

That will give the author a feeling about: "How many people did read my article? " and "How good was it for the others?" It will not provide any information on the parts that the people didn't like, but at least will help the author to have an more accurate picture of the "appreciation" of his article, rather than just the comments of 2-3 persons in the forum.

Now, I don't know if this is easy to implement or not... your call there Jo

that's actually a very good idea Carlis :D

I'll forward it to the team and see how quickly they can implement it.

We had this feature included in the design, and so it was easy to include. You can now rate the article on the site, and luger can now receive the feedback he seeks :D
