The attached picture shows an incident involving a driver.

1. Who is the driver?
2. What team was he driving for?
3. During which Grand Prix did the incident occur?
4. Which season was it?
5. Who became World Champion that season?

These might be wrong, but I think it's...

1. Who is the driver? Gilles Villeneuve
2. What team was he driving for? Ferrari!
3. During which Grand Prix did the incident occur? Brazil
4. Which season was it? 1979
5. Who became World Champion that season? Jody Scheckter

That means either two things....

1. I'm wrong, but you just don't have the heart to tell me.
2. I'm right, and you're leaving me to doubt myself.

I'll clear things up now :)

Ste, you've got 80% correct :p . The only one you got wrong was probably the hardest one. Gilles Villeneuve did not spin at Interlagos in 1979, despite coming in a suspicious 5th.

In the picture, Villeneuve recovered from the spin and finished the race outside the points (Hint!)

Other insight welcome ;)

I'm always at a loss when i try to look these things up, what caught my attention though after the solution was given is the fence in the back. Maybe im a bit misinformed but it doesnt look like that's going to hold an F1 car in a head on collision.
What on earth were those photographers thinking? lol :eek:
