I had a tough season last time with only one win although I ran a Renault in the 2006 season.

I just started a 1986 public game running a Haas Lola. I'm guessing there won't be any wins this season but I'm aiming to score some points.

I just won another race in a private F1 2006 league. Silverstone, started from fourth spot and was up at a podium place when my team mate crashed out and the safety car came out. Unlike all the other guys at the top I didn't pit during the safety car laps (I thought I'd lost all chances of points when I didn't pit). Instead I went into the pit five laps after the green flag and ended up last. The good thing was that I now was out of synch and had lots of empty road ahead and I could start putting fastest lap after fastest lap. When I just caught up to the back of a long trail of cars they started going into the pits and when I had done my pitstop I was in the lead. The last 15 laps I just took it easy and won by 5 seconds.

I now moved up to second place in the championship. 9 points after the leading Honda.


It's the sixth season we're running this private league and I usually end up around 10th spot or so. So this season is looking good.
