It is now possible for private game owners to alter approx. 10 basic parameters that control the way races are run and calculated, such as reducing the number of driver errors or increasing the amount of carnage at the start.

The full list of parameters which can be altered are:

Qualifying Accidents
Start Problems
Mayhem Starts
Yellow Flags
Mechanical Problems
Driver Errors
Pitstop Errors
Overtaking Chance
Collisions

Many settings can be adjusted down from 1% up to 500%! This is an ideal means to experience BATracer in a different light if you have felt the number of incidents is excessive, or indeed not enough. Hence, players can now organise BATracer private games where the game engine is much more suited to their individual tastes.

This function is only available to Kool Tools players, however non-KT players can of course join a private game where these options have been enabled!

The modifier options are accessible by going to the GAME drop down menu and selecting "Private Games", then clicking EDIT.

To prevent private game owners from manipulating the parameters to their advantage, a copy of the private game settings are published in the game news each time they are edited.

Note that due to the large impact some of these settings can have on the game, as well as the countless combinations possible, it has not been possible to test each and every possible permutation. Therefore - particulary with extreme settings - unexpected results may occur. Players and private game owners should allow for this, and players joining a private game mid-season should check the game news to see what the current settings are (if no settings are displayed, the default values will be in use).
