    BATracer LMES Pitstops

Now when there is less pitstops available (for example there is minimum 5 for 12h of Sebring), how do they affect your strategies? I've always had stints of about an hour long but you could really save time on these stops, considering they are about 1 minute long.

I got tip from one of the player in my current LMES that Sebring is a 35-40 lap pitstop strategy.. If u run more than 45-50 then there are high chances of car failure...thats why i had 35 lap pitstops...now i m waiting for my second race of LMES which is 111 laps...

That 35-40 would realistically (for BR be about a maximum), but there has been some controversy regarding how LMES is playing right now. The stints are longer, with fewer pits than I've ever seen. It's kinda screwy

My trusty teamie just ran 3, 60 laps stints without blowing a tyre Mind you, he was so heavy of fuel, and cheeseburgers, he wasn't effective

To sum it up Kimi, right now it's really difficult to nail it down with certainty.
It appears that a 35-40 you shouldn't push those tyres too hard I haven't done any stints in GT mind you, so I don't know how the tyres behave

We finish off tonight with the 24h. 27 points behind 1st. One point ahead of 3rd...

I used similiar tactis in Sebring that I've used before and they were enough for win . Now was the first time when I really looked in this well known SC bug of LMES...My teamie was 5 laps behind me before first SC, but after that he wasn't anymore. The race ended with our steady 1-2 over the finish line but without us racing again behind the SC at that point, he woulda win because he had his setup more towards wet than me. Stupid bug.

Jules has fudged up this carset with his pit-stop tweaks.. You would expect to have a hard time running with a lot less stops than before as tyre wear, fatigue and car failures should take a huge toll on results, but from my experience a lot of people can get away with 2 or 3 stops on a track which only allowed 5 or 6 beforehand..

Salty and I had that problem as well. We would do the math on a race and see that on paper it needed say 5 stops on all hard. Then you'd see guys do 2-3 stops fine. I used the last LMES game as a test bed since I was using the logical setups at the start. I managed a 60 lap stint with no tire failure on a track that needed like 35-40 lap stints. The carset is VERY screwed up at the moment.
