    World's Smallest Car

As far as I recall, the SMART is the smallest car in the world. Anybody aware of anything even smaller that's still legal to be on the road (and has four wheels )

Well i've got something pretty interesting but unexpected for everyone.

What is that? That is the smallest car ever made and it measures at 4x3 nanometers. Note that a human hair is 80,000 nanometers thick. Apparently made out of molecules. Scientists seem to be experimenting with mini transportation vehicles that will be able to transport atoms around.

Has the car got to be smaller in height, surface area or length because a 1960's mini is much smaller than a SMART and it is road legal but a Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe is smaller in height than a SMART car so, be very specific with your question lol.

Actually Anthony, although the Mini of the 60s was small, I think the SMART is even smaller. 8) - Maybe I can dig out some exact measurements...

BTW: Welcome to the forum mate

I've searched for measurements and eventhough I couldn't find anything, to be honest, I didn't look for a long time so maybe we'll just have to walk around and chase cars down a motorway and measure them from a-far. If you can get the car I have loads of rulers stuck together with tape sooo, it's your move now. Lol.

Well after searching for a while i came to understand that the car we are looking for is considered a "microcar" these are cars considered to be less than 3 metres in leangth as far as i understood. Now there are a ton of these vehicles.

But out of all of these we still i think can find a definite winner, an old one maybe, but still the one we're looking for.

The Peel P50 is 134 cm (53 in) long, 99 cm (39 in) wide, and 134 cm (53 in) high, smaller than an average fairground bumper car. The vehicle was built by Peel Engineering Co. at Peel, Isle of Man, UK, from 1962 until 1965. The lightweight single-seater car was capable of speeds of up to 64 km/h (40 mph). The car was not a big seller since it was very unstable, cramped and noisy. Neither did it have a reverse gear.

Don't embaress yourself getting a parking fine with one of these, just take it with you to your office...inside,
