    Arrow Lexus LS 460 (2007)

This is the powerful and luxurious Lexus answer to the Mercedes S500 and the BMW 7 Series. And I must say its new design with new features is very impressive.

The first thing that surprised me was that this car has an 8-Speed Gearbox, the world's first . Last time I checked six gears were already considered a 'surprise'.

But this car has more to boast and brag about. A heated steering wheel, mounted 9-inch rear monitor and 19 speaker Levinson audio system (with a hard drive for 4000 songs)

If you don't fancy parking after a long day's work, the car computer will do the patience-testing parallel parking for you. All you need to do is adjust the speed with the accelerator and the steering is done automatically

The 4.6l V8 engine will take you from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.

Sad as it may be, I only really judge a car from the interior, and from what I could see, I really like it.

8 gears only means that you need to make more gear changes, which in my world, is a bad thing.

Come to think of it, seems like a hassle to go through 8 gears. But then again with paddle shift and a sweet sounding engine, you probably can't get enough changes. Anybody want to offer me a test drive?

Im sorry to disappoint you Jo unless you work for top gear or something you're not getting one anytime soon see but you'll have a chance to drive it in lets say 20 years or something. Some patience my friend, lol. BMW needs to come up with something fast, lol, this is one kickass car.

Here's an ad for the LS 460 and it pretty much sums up the autopark feature

The autopark thing is pretty cool, I've seen the commercial, but the car itself just seems a little bit 'big' to me...I don't like the look of the real largely built cars, I like the compact slicker frames better, but geeze, talk about control...wonder if you could really do that in a real world environment

""The Lexus LS 460 was designed to expand the definition of the full-size luxury sedan," said Jim Press, Toyota Motor Sales president and COO. "The new LS is the product of an advanced production process developed specifically for this vehicle with remarkable new levels of accuracy, refinement, precision and craftsmanship. Considering our record for quality over the last 17 years, that?s quite a statement,? he added."

This is from a new detailed review on the 2007 Lexus LS 460, with info on new features and technology, design, performance and pricing.
