What's the Best Car You've Driven?

I had the chance to try out a Mercedes S500, although it's been a few years. Still, the power it has under the hood is quite impressive, 0-60 km/h in 6.2 seconds.

But it's a very big and very heavy car, because it's a limo. My Golf V is much more fun to drive, although it has much less power

I drove a BMW 3 series, not sure which model, a few years back at a performance driving school.

It was fun, good acceleration, and the rear wheel drive was great for drifting.

    Porsche GT3 and GT2.

I like driving the GT3, it's small and easy to drive, but it lacks the low end power, it's really really slow at low RPM.

The GT2 has a lot of torque and it easily spins the tires, it's big car compared to the GT3 and it's hard to drive.

Both cars are fun and each has its own characteristics.

BTW the fastest speed I've ever reached in public road is 270 KM/H in an Audi A8.

also did 240 in a Porsche Cayenne, it's really fast for an SUV.

A Corvette ZR1 some time ago. It was a friends boss's car, but he let us take it out here and there. I think I got it up to 170k and thought that was enough for the roads around here

270 Fahad? I can't imagine going that fast period, let alone on a public road YIKES!

Yea that is very fast. I like racing in a controlled enviornment, like a race track. But I heard that the roads in Saudi Arabia are state-of-the-art, so I'm sure that doesn't discourage putting a GT2/3 engine to work

I had a late 80's GTI a number of years back, I put on a 2 1/2 inch exhaust, Webber 'Big Throat' throttle body. Minor tweeks here and there, and you're right, they are a lot of fun to drive

My favorite was racing up the gravel switch-back roads up to the ski hills in the summer. What a hoot!
