Tell me if you like it or not.
Personally, I like it, especially when I'm traveling to other town with car for long hours.
But it cost me a little bit, because I need to check up my car frequently.

started auto, went to manual. love manual, wish my hummer was manual.
I like both. Depends on the car and situation. In a truck def. Automatic. In a sporty car withouy too much traffic (city) a manual for sure. Van = Auto. Mostly anything not sporty and Automatic and if I'm in traffic alot of have a chick in the car for sure. Otherwise I like a manual for sporty type driving.

My cars have always been manual, but I kind of like to drive automatics (my parents have always had automatics as my mom hasn't driven a manual car since the sixties or something and refuses to re-learn it).
I'm not really that addicted to the macho art of stick shifting, so I wouldn't mind an automatic in my next car.![]()

I will be learning to drive in January, in a automatic car. I've played around with the gears in the parents car a few times and I got the hang of shifting gears pretty quick. Lets hope it will be the same when I start to learn to drive![]()

from auto to manual is not hard. But from manual to auto is a little hard. It's about our behavior when driving manual car.
In automatic car, even we don't running board the gas pedal, the car keep moving forward slowly.
I don't really agree there. Going from manual to automatic is like... well... going from something that does require a bit of training to something which doesn't (if you already know how to steer, work a gas- and brake pedal.).
Going from automatic to manual I'm pretty sure most people will have a few engine cuts before they get the hang of the clutch and gas combo, can start in hills without rolling backwards etc.
My first driving lesson was in a manual (you can't get a driver's licence driving automatics over here) and I had a pretty horrifying time. Then I went home and drove my dad's automatic for the first time and it was like heaven. Put it in D and off you go - no problems!

I dont like automatic cars and untill they produce manual shift cars i will buy those. I dont know why but i feel like i dont have the control of the car with automatic transmission.
Manual transmission ftw
