A Chrysler LLC official says top executives of the troubled auto maker are meeting with members of the Obama administration's auto task force. A company official says Chrysler chairman and CEO Bob Nardelli, Canadian-born vice-chairman Tom LaSorda and chief financial officer Ron Kolka are meeting Wednesday with the administration panel.
The Chrysler official spoke on condition of anonymity because the talks were private. Obama's auto task force is trying to restructure Chrysler and General Motors Corp. (NYSE:GM) by March 31. The task force is expected to meet with GM officials on Thursday.
