    Do you race motorcycles?

To me racing cars is very fun. I love to watch races and I love to go fast.

Something about racing on motorcycles really scares the heck out of me. I can't imagine going super fast and trying to beat someone on a bike. There isn't as much protection on a bike. You have your helmet and whatever you have on your body.

I would think it's much more dangerous and I can't say that I would ever try it.

Do you race bikes? Do you know anyone that does?

I think you have answered why you feel the way you do. My buddys in AZ do not race but they are working on some tricks and still have meets to chat it up about what they have new/what they have modded out. I love watching bike races too, but I will stick with just a nice ride on a good day.

I'd rather race cars, this way I usually have at least two wheels on the ground

I like to ride motorcycles a lot but racing them is not something I would ever consider. That's just way way too dangerous for me.

It's good to see I'm not alone. There is no way I'd race. I just wouldn't feel comfortable.
Hey when you race cars you have at least 2 wheels on the ground most times.

I would rather race in a car than on a motorcycle. I love to watch bike races, but even that gets me scared. I would much rather have steel around me while I am driving fast.

I like watching both but I have to admit, in a car I would feel a little more secure. Though at the same time, on a bike there would be a rush scale that a car could not even come close to.

Anyone ever been to those hill climbs? Where crazy drivers drive their motorcycles up the side of a hill to see who can make it up the farthest? Man those are just as crazy as racing bikes to me.

Wanna see something wild? In particular on a European hillclimb?
Sidecar racing, don't know if the sport still exists, but back in the days, just watching the guy in the sidecar bouncing from one side to the other and dodging the road side markers with his head and shoulders, would just about make you wet your pants, but what blast

I was practically raised on a motorcycle and my uncle use to take me to watch the races all the time but, personally, I would never consider racing one. I'm too much of a wimp, I guess. It looks like from the sound of this thread though that I'm not the only one.
