    "Trikes"

I've started so see some tricycle motorcycles on the road, with two wheels at the front of the body. These wheels are closer together than the older style of trikes with the two wheels at the back.

What's the appeal of these - Maybe they're more stable than bikes?

I'm not sure what the appeal is unless they are possibly more stable on turns than the two-in-back model. I definitely am not impressed with the look though. There's something unnatural about it.

I am not really a Trikes fan, older models yes but the ones you are noting just look a little off to me. For some reason, certain things should just remain the same in my own opinion that is.

Yes, the appearance takes some getting used to, doesn't it?

It kind of reminds me of some farm tractors that have the front wheels closer together. I always thought that they were less stable, but I guess they could make sharper turns than the tractors with the front wheels further apart?

If that's true, maybe the trikes are more "forgiving" with erratic steering.
