    Hydrolic trunk thing

I have no idea what is it called, the lift I guess? Anyways, I remember after our car was dinging the dealership wanted way too much for it, now I am thinking about doing it myself or what I should be paying someone. Has always replaced one of these before?

If it's not covered under the car's warranty, you don't want to take it to the dealership. There are all kinds of schematics available on the internet. I'm sure you could find instruction ob how to do it yoursellf.
