Does anyone still have a 3-wheeler? We had one years and years ago- but it's been a long time. I don't think that they are very safe. I like 4 wheels better than 3 when I'm out hot-dogging it.

I haven't seen a 3-wheeler in a long time and don't know anyone who still has one. I agree that they were unsafe. There were issues with instability and it didn't take too much to roll-over.
I know I came close to rolling ours a couple of times. They just didn't handle speed and turns too well. I'm sure they were fine when you drove slow.
The last three-wheeler I saw had two wheels at the front, maybe ten or twelve inches apart.
The old ones I saw with the two wheels at the back seemed to have a "home made" feel.
I have never owned one but I have wanted to! Right now we do not have the land for one but maybe one day (if I am lucky or so he keeps telling me).
I love the history of these and how many styles have changed. I bet if I could get my hands on an older style the hubby would be more than willing to let me have one.![]()
I've never seen a 3-wheeler with 2 wheels on the front. That is pretty cool. Ours had 2 on the back and 1 on the front.
We have plenty of land. We own about 10 acres of land and a lot of woods!
