Thread: Choppers

I don't hear the term "choppers" any more, but I was wondering why they came into fashion back when they did, and why they didn't seem to last?

I'm referring to the kind of bikes in Easy Rider and Ghost Rider.

It is still used but it depends on who you are talking to. Some prefer old school choopers and some prefer "crotch rockets". I like both but if I ever had to ride again it would be on a CR since I can not sit up "right" after a serious wreck I was in.
