Thread: How did you learn to ride a motorcycle?

I remember when I was a teen wanting to forgo a car when I got my license and get a bike. My parents weren't having it, and they bought me a used car, but now I'm thinking I might go for that long lost dream and get a bike.

I don't know a lot of bike people, though. Any ideas where I could go to learn to ride before hitting the road?

My uncle has this old Honda motorcycle. He let me drive it when I was a teenager. The controls are much like in a car but the difference is the way you change gear. I learned driving his bike on his ranch so there is no need to worry about other vehicles.
