    Champ Cars in the Wet

Apparently Champ Cars aren't too swift in the wet. It may be the nature of the race surface being that it's usually roadway, parking lot, or some other non-track surface. Could be that the drivers just aren't expected to do well in the wet. Who knows. I'm hopeing that it's the tracks fault. I have to say that I'm rooting for Doornbos since I know who he is. (Former F1 driver) I may go for Rahal as well. I know Bourdais is the shining star right now, but he's French and he likes his whine a bit too much. Another thing, does anyone know why the teams cars aren't the same livery? In F1 and most other racing the teamates match. Just gets confusing to me. I guess if they aren't competing for a constructor it would allow more diversity with sponsors. I think NASCAR is like that too. (Don't watch it so not sure)

In U.S. racing the name and colours of the sponsors are more important than the name and colours of the team. And with no rules to only one livery per team a team can have a title sponsor for every car (which I guess makes it easier to get them to pay up the big bucks). BAR tried it in F1 with one car Lucky Strike and the other 555 but before the first race 1999 the FIA (or Bernie or whoever) told them off and they would have to use the schizo 50/50 livery that year.

The race a week or so ago was in a bit of wet, and I thought it was pretty entertaining actually. That race in particular, the weather was so unpredictable, no one really knew what tires to use during the first half of the race. Around the halfway mark I think everyone was either on wets or intermediates and things got a little better. I gotta go for Paul Tracy, that guy is hardcore.
