I have only drifted on the snow and ice and it was not intentional and very scary. I might like to try it on pavement or even gravel where I could exercise more control.

I had a very bad experience on my first drift, as i felt down from my friend car as the door was not locked properly, i recovered on that with very minor injuries.

I've accidentally spun the car right around 360 degress on an icy road, with no accident. I was lucky.

I grew up on a farm and I "experimented" a bit with donuts in the fields with my dad's old pickup truck.

rallycraze that sounds like something many could learn from. It was not until I got older than I realized you need to respect the car you are in. Just the other day I was driving down the freeway (had just entered) and it was almost like a war zone, my car has some get up and go, but I was not a happy camper having to "gun it" in my car with my child there (shes young) just to merge onto the freeway.
