    But in that particular category his closest rivals in votes were also F1 drivers (Vettel and Sutil).

    Interesting that Brendon Hartley is only in the 'surprise driver' and not 'young driver' section. i surpose for people in Europe it may have been a surprise but for us people who no him and for people who follow NZ motorsport it comes as no surprise that he has had a fantastic year

    He was one of the ten nominated in that section as well, but didn't make the top five.
