This is an easy one for me.

Even with the incident in Monaco, Michael Schumacher has proved that he's not too old to be successful.

I agree with F1Today on this one.

Michael Schumacher is driving in a different league to be frank. At least now he is. It could well be that Jacques Villeneuve has lost his edge, while the German has been able to hang on to it.

I think it's ignorant to claim Villeneuve to be a bad driver. Remember, he was World Champion in 1997

That said, it is clear that Schuey is much less dependant on a good car to deliver a good perfomance than Villeneuve. :?

Schumacher. Quite simple. When he has a top car, he wins the championship and it even looks easy! When he does not have a top car, if it is the second package on the grid, he can take the fight on the guy with the best equipment (97-00, 03, 06) and in some situation, even winning the big prize in that circumstances! When he has a dodgy car, he can beat most of the guys out there, as he did in 05. McLaren and Renault were in a different league with respect to Ferrari, and even in that case he managed to finish in P3, above Montoya and Fisichella, drivers who had a superior machine.

Villeneuve is not a bad driver, and he had even show some sparks of, let's say "the old Jacques" this season, but he is in a very different league with respect to Schumacher. In fact, I think that the only driver in the grid that can take Schumacher to a fight up to the very last stages with similar equipment is Ferrari's future star: Kimi Raikkonen!

Well, apparently Schumacher doesn't want to drive alongside Raikkonen (a German newspaper is quoted saying). It's too big a risk in the last period of his career.

It would cost Ferrari 5 million to cancel the contract with Raikkonen. Montezmelo however wants to hold on to the Finn. So it'll be interesting to see :P

If that is true, then he is a coward

But I think (hope?) that he will take the fight with Kimi
