The rumour about McLaren bidding over Rosberg when Alonso was leaving the team, is true. Frank Williams has now admitted that they declined a massive offer for their star driver.
"We didn't give a thought for it. Why would we give away our 'crown jewel' ? There's no sense to make our car go 1 second faster if at the same time we give away 0.5 seconds with loosing a driver." Frank Williams stated.
It's true. Rosberg's 'market value' is sky high right now, IF Williams is not in the title fight for 2010 campaign, I'd say Rosberg is then in one of the top teams, meaning atm in Ferrari or Macca.
