Thread: Your Current Top 10 F1 Drivers in 2008?

What is your current top 10 based on their performance, skills and talent you feel they have? Mine is:

Kimi, Kubica, Hamilton and Alonso are probably the best 4 but this is very difficult to judge since Kimi can probably set the fastest lap with a good setup and Kubica is probably the most flawless and consistant driver. Alonso on his part is probably the best at setting up a car, giving feedback to the engineers, he's also great in defending (except yesterday) and overtaking..
Hamilton is probably the best braker and is also great at overtaking and defending ..

So a lot of probabilities if you ask me.

Then there's the fact that the only true comparisson we have is between team-mates. It's also difficult to judge the qualities of the drivers in a not so competitive car.
One car can be very easy and a dream to drive and another can be like hell and that doesn't always show on tv.

edit: And if I had to give some order it would be something like this.

1. Alonso (most complete and valuable driver)
2. Kimi (able to put very fast and steady laptimes together but isn't the best overtaker/defender.
3. Kubica (best race mind and talent but still has some weak points due to his inexperience)
4. Hamilton (great overall talent but makes too many mistakes and believes he has nothing more to learn.

I would say 1 Raikkonen, 2 Alonso, 3 Kubica, 4 Massa, 5 Hamilton, 6 Heidfeld, 7 Coulthard, 8 Bourdais, 9 Fisichella, 10 Rosberg.
