Thumbs up Cost cutting measures : A Boon or Bane!

dear buddies,
this is regarding the cost cutting measures which were introduced by max in F1. so many teams are against the cost cutting measures. but i'm amazed by it. since this is recessionary (economic slowdown) period, what i feel is, max has made the right decession for the survival of the F1.
All the larger teams are against it but i feel they should be happy for it. they should take it as a challenge & develop new technologies with low cost for themselves & the world & win races. what say?
i feel always cutting edge technology should be cheaper & made available for the common people. but its always the otherway around.

your comments & advises are welcome.

I don't think the teams are against cost cutting measures in general, its the amount of cuts, kind of cuts and timeframe that they are opposed to.
Its like Mosley using a chain saw to cut half a tree down in order to trim it, thus potentially killing it, instead of using shears to prune it and prevent its destruction.

I strongly believe cost cutting is needed or there will be problems down the road. Its going to be come the difference between the survial or death of it.

cost cutting is pretty needed at this recessionary period cuz if they don’t do it,it would be quite difficult for them to survive.i also think that big teams should take it as a challenge and try to face it.

The policies of Max are not correct to bring down the costs. It is truly an acceptable step by Max but big teams do not support the way he is executing these cuts & I also believe that they are right.

I think the teams have opposed the methods & types of cuts.
This step was needed to be taken to make this sport more exciting.
Let's see what happens at the end.

I too agree with the thread starter because in the decreasing world economy, F1 have to take some steps in order to control their expenses. I support FIA's decision to introduce budget cuts.

The cost cutting measure must be taken as positive step to stabilize world economy.
The teams have to control their expenses in the recision period.
FIA have done the correct thing to agree to the cost cutting measures & FOTA must also agree.
