BTW a question to the Italian friends:
Here in Germany the hype is over Schumacher rather than over Ferrari because he's a national monument, and for some reason I have the feeling no Rosberg or Vettel can equal him in public attention, even if they win more races and titles. Even other national monuments like Franz Beckenbauer said "I didn't watch a single race since Schumi retired but now I'm gonna tune in every time he races".
However from Italian sources I get the feeling that people are really interested in the question what Michael can do for Ferrari, can he exctract more from the car than the contracted drivers or can he pull the team more forward due to his experience? I don't know what they are paying him, but I doubt it will come cheap. So Ferrari must have some expectations. Could it be that the Italian public are not sure if the drivers extracted maximum from the car? Or in other words, would there still be such hype obout Schumi if Raikkonen and Massa had won everything in the last years? Because I heard some doubts whether Massa was a real stardriver at the Senna/Prost/Lauda/Schumacher level, and some suggested that Raikkonen might be in this class speedwise but didn't seem that fast since leaving McLaren and joining Ferrari. Now you can say about Schumacher that he made mistakes, looking at 2006 for example, by crashing in Australia, crashing with Heidfeld in Hungary, the parking slot Rascasse, all incidents have cost points, but you cannot say Schumacher didn't always race at the highest level. He was a ball out racer like Senna/Mansell, he always went for the maximum, never drove calculative like Prost for example. Your thoughts?
