Thread: New helmet development

Felipe Massa's accident has prompted his helmet manufacturer to improve the design in the clips that hold the visor. The company also supplies Schumacher's helmet and maybe others. Schumi's new helmet will feature new titanium clips that replace plastic ones and are said to double the strength of that joint.

Good to hear there is going to be new developments with the helmets. With every crash in F1 the safety level increases.
