Thread: Felipe Massa

Honestly, I don't know much about him, but it was good to see him at the track in Brazil and the footage of him in the car from the prior week. He's one of maybe ... two drivers that I have any like at all for in F1. His crash was so scary. I can't believe he's recovered so fully. Good for him!

Yes, he seems to be one of the truly nice guys in the sport, along with Rubens. I was a little disappointed that he repeatedly complained that Renault's actions in Singapore last year should result Alonzo's win nullified and him being driver champ. Not a good way to start out with a new teammate. Hopefully he can win the championship outright. He deserves it.

This goes way back before the Renault cheating storm. Massa and Alonso have never seen eye to eye. Massa is entitled to ask for the win to be nullified, however the driver shouldn't be penalised for the team's actions.

I think in an article I read recently he said the best thing possible and kept it simple.

"I will do as I always have done: try to win."

I am not sure if that is only for racing, or a little competition and dares around the way too.

I don't like Alonzo. He's been involved in two cheating scenarios and I just don't like him. I'll stick with Massa and Lewis Hamilton for now. They really are the only 2 F1 drivers I care about to any extent.

I'm fairly new to the sport of F1 racing and there does seem to be a lot of talk about drivers and cheating. Massa is one of the few names that I have not heard a lot of negative things about.
