Thread: Jensen Button to McLaren?

I have been hearing rumours that Jensen is taking a tour around the McLaren HQ soon, it seems to be creating some speculation about a move to McLaren.

I hope he sticks with the team that made him world champion.

I haven't observed a lot of loyalty among F1 drivers or owners, so in my opinion, anything is possible. F1 drivers are all about the money.

It has been confirmed that Jensen is going to McLaren, however in this instance, Mercedes taking a hugh majority stake in Brawn GP has meant that ideally they would like an all German line up. So I don't think money is the issue here.

It doesn't matter who Jensen drives for. He's a great driver. McLaren has great cars. He will win championships and have the old team wishing they had kept him.

i think that Jenson will find it very tough fitting in and playing second fiddle to Lewis. Remember what happened to Alonso @ mclaren. eventually no top driver will want to be there unless hamilton goes elsewhere, which is not going to happen.
On the other hand he deserves being in such a team, although i think that Brawn Mercedes will be the better team in the coming seasons.
so jenson made another wrong move .IMO.

I think they will get equal billing, I'm sure Jensen will see to that, also he has far more F1 experience than Lewis, it's going to be a 2010
