Actually, yes, he was forced into retirement. The seats were taken. They wanted a new direction. The commentators talked about it all year long that year, about how he was being forced out. It's not unlike Jay Leno and the Tonight Show.

I am not too sure about this right now after some other stuff going on (I do not want to spoil the fun post I did a few ago), but I think he might miss his old job. What else would he do, became a taxi driver if not in this line of work?

Here's an article from Monday's online version of The Toronto Star if anyone's interested:

Returning Schumacher feels ?great emotion? over F1 fight - thestar.com

Now check out the Mercedes in that photo - That looks like a serious car.

I read an article where it's sounding like Ferrari has a bit of hurt feelings and a bit of bruised ego by Schumacher going with Mercedes. Hey, I like a little bit of trash talk and controversy. Makes me want to root for Schumacher's comeback to be a success.

Ferrari takes potshot at Schumacher, Mercedes

I never really mind bruised egos as most people never know what they have till its lost. Maybe after this is said and done they will realize it and understand that all drivers (at least the good ones) are important too, and will go where they are treated better.

He stayed out last year nursing a motorcycle accident. He has been behind the wheel as the Stig on Top gear. He beat Lewis Hamilton in the prime around the Top Gear test trackl

I am sure the show is laid back compared to what he is used to but I have been busy with work and stopped almost fully watching anything on TV lately. I really should get back into it, can not be a couch potato if I quit.
