Schumacher

So according to examiner (which sometimes I do put little faith in, some stories are just out there), Schumacher is coming back to F1. He will be going in for 2010 and with the Mercedes GP (I want to drive one, one day just to say I have).

As the write up notes about an ego issue, I am sure there is on but when you have some of the history this guy does, don't you deserve a little ego??

That seems like a blast from the past.

Thanks for the link - His car in the photo looks very unusual to me. Is that some kind of exhibition vehicle or something?

It has to be some type of promotional vehicle. There is no way that would hold up to an F1 race. It is kinda cute though.

He was gonna race last year after Massa got hurt, but he was hurt himself and couldn't drive. We have to remember that he was forced into retirement. It wasn't his choice not to drive anymore.

he was never forced into retirment. if he wanted to stay with ferrari they would have gladly let him do so.
i think that his comeback is in many ways bad news to the rest of the teams and the drivers. But not for the fans and the media.
I think that he will win races if mercedes are competitive, and his main rivals will be Alonso, rosberg and vettel.
I wish him the best and i hope to see him retire again with 10 titles .

Like mentioned in the caption, I think he drove it at a charity karting event.

Isn't he too old to race again, especially in Formula One? Anyway, I wish him the best. I don't hear many success stories about top drivers coming back on the circuit.

Sport's legend that come back from retirement doesn't really end up well. This reminds me of Michael Jordan. He should have stayed retired so that his legendary career would have stayed to the top.

We don't know for sure why he returned to F1 but based on the article, he might want to conclude his personal story with Mercedes which he had started racing with.

I doubt the car in the write up could withstand the power of my toddler let alone a real pro race.

And yes we have all see some retiree's come back and flop, but for some reason this one seems promising. I am just not sure for how long or not.

I think, given the right car, Schumaker can make an outstanding comeback. I hope so anyway. I've got some money riding on it. I'm praying he has a real good season.

Schumacher return.

I wish him well for his return, but as said before, many come backs do not work. I will be supporting Hamilton and Button this time around.!
