    Wannabe fans

Argh, okay so I am not the best fan in the world but I check my facts and try to keep up. I see some grumpy bloggers I guess have taken some idea that people are giving up on the sport as its "boring". How could F1 seriously be boring even when your not the one racing?

Easy. I'm the one watching and it bores me greatly most of the time. The winners come from the pole or top 4 a large percentage of the time. There's very little passing. Now they are working on being more competitive but they have a long way to go.

Well, just because the result is mostly predictable doesn't mean the race is boring. Let's just hope that we will see some surprise in the next race at Albert Park Australia.

I'm a wannabe fan as I stated, I really don't know a whole lot about F1 racing. I like leader changes though, and different people winning all the time. I'm still going to give it a shot.

I agree! I hate predictability! A race is a race. Formula 1 is not racing to me because you pretty much know who is going to win or come close to winning.

I have to disagree. If you know the outcome from the beginning, why bother? I feel my position is valid is because it's the F1 association that is trying to change things. They know they have competition issues.

Everyone can disagree as long as its healthy debates and not troll like. I get that you need to see some spark sometimes, but still, its another part of the idea world of cars that we seem to love. Its like people who only watch the Superbowl, how are you a real fan if you limit yourself to the sport like that?

I beg to differ my friend. Why have you come up with the idea that F1 is not racing? It is not like WWE wherein the wrestlers (or what I call actors) already know who will be the winner.

You cannot really predict who the winner for F1 because there are so many variables in this race. Even the pit itself has something to do with winning the race.

I guess I'm confused.... how do we already know who the winner is before the race starts? I don't think they would even race if we knew that. As I tell my daughter, anyone can win on any given day!

I love WWE - and yes I know it's all for entertainment.

That is the problem when we are just spectators, we don't really feel the thrill of the race. I have raced in karts and it feels really good even though I didn't win.
