Thread: What team would you choose if you were the driver?

If you are given the chance to be a driver in the F1 race, which team would you join? Do drivers even have a choice which team they are going to race with? How do drivers select the team or does the team select their driver?

I would love to drive for Ferrari. It's a great team and seems to be the winning team for this season. Well, it maybe too early to predict anything, but one thing I am sure, Ferrari will be much better than it was in the last season.

I suspect its mainly the teams and their sponsors who select whom they would like to put in their cars, although a few drivers have enough pull to be able to select which teams they would drive for, or not.
As for me, any team dumb, I mean smart enough, to hand over one of their car to me would be good enough

If this is the case then I would assume that Schumacher chose to be with the Mercedes Team rather than with his former Ferrari Team. Or did Mercedes offered him his driver's seat back because it was his first team when he started racing in F1?

I would be like oldcanuck. Any team would be alright as long as I can get to race in F1. For me, driving in F1 race is already a dream come true whatever team I will have.

Well, I have to agree with you guys. It would be the greatest chance in my life to drive for any F1 team. So, though my favorite team is Ferrari, I would not mind to drive for Mercedes or Renault. 8-)

RedBull Racing, they have the best constructur (Adrian Newey) and a car that it fast enough to win a championship. Okey the first two races awas a parody vettel coud get a great leading in the championship if the car woud hold.. Ofc i coud drive for HRS because a F1 seat is my biggest dream.
