    Massa-Alonso fighting?

wow! already? WTF is going on..lol Alonso sure seems to have a reputation

Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso insist their relationship is as good as always despite the Chinese Grand Prix incident.

"As it happens quite often, there's always someone who wants to create some confusion," Massa said on Ferrari's website on Tuesday.
"The situation between me and Fernando is the one it always has been and an overtaking manoeuvre won't change it for sure.

"I already explained after the race what happened and I think it's useless doing it again, but obviously there's someone who doesn't want to understand."If I've spoken to Fernando? Sure, just like we talk to each other every day when we're on the track. We both know very well what Ferrari wants from us drivers and what we have to do on the track," added the Brazilian.

Alonso was also critical of reports suggesting a rift between him and Massa, and the Spaniard reckons the matter is not even worth discussing.
"I'm surprised by what I've been told. I already said it in Shanghai: this episode is creating a stir just because it happened between two team-mates," he said. "If the other car would have been green or grey, we'd all be celebrating this manoeuvre, but instead we're just losing time with polemics, where there is nothing to say.

"Felipe and I are racing and we know that the team's interest is the most important thing. We know how to behave and we've shown it on other occasions during these first races.

"It's definitely not the duels on the track, creating problems inside the team and I know this by experience. If someone wants to make a fuss, it definitely won't ruin the spirit of Ferrari."

There are more than a few people in F1 walking around with knives scars on their back, courtesy of Alonso, if Massa hasn't got stabbed in the back yet, its just a matter of time as I'm sure he is sharpening one for his teamate and probably a couple of additional ones to plant into some unsuspecting Ferrari team member.

I thought Hamilton was the A-Hole in McLaren but it seems Alonso is no angel. Sad to read about

You know I see this time and time again throughout racing. Sometimes I wonder if it is all a publicity stunt. When you are racing each other how can there not be rivalry? I just think it adds to the excitement to tell you the truth.

Alonso got stuck behind Massa in a few races before China, even though he was faster.

It was a little cheap, but until they get to the pitlane line, they can do whatever they want. Massa did say he slipped in a puddle of water as well. I don't think Massa would've got fourth if he pitted before Alonso, so it probably was better for the team that Alonso got ahead. Media is trying to create a rift between them, just because of the Alonso-Hamilton relationship in 2007.

Alonso has been on my bad list for years. I don't like him and I don't think 'honor' is a word that he knows. I like Massa, though.

You know for many if they did not have random outbursts like this some of us would never watch. Not saying me of course, but it is kind of a funny perk to it all.

That's like the current debate over NASCAR and whether or not the racers should be allowed to retaliate. It's the rivalry thing. Alonso really has been the shaker, good or bad, in F1 for the last few years.

You tend to make a name for yourself quick in this game but the retaliate issue I could see both sides of that. Of course people should be able to protect themselves but what happens if a driver does X and it causes Y and Z then someone got hurt - who is to blame? The original person or the one who made a choice to try and defend themselves?
