Last night on the TV show The Big Bang I noticed two of the characters were playing the Mario Kart game for the Wii, with the steering wheels. The game got some screen time.
I've heard that's a good game. Has anyone here played it?

I haven't played it on the Wii, didn't it just come out? I love the Wii, and maybe I can get my boyfriend to borrow it from one of his friends. Mario Kart might be more my speed than a more intense game.![]()
It came out a while ago and was one of my first Wii games. I also use the steering wheels and my boyfriend likes to get online and race other people from around the world. It's pretty darned awesome, I'd say.
I'm tempted to check it out.
I think the product placement in the show The Big Bang Theory was interesting. In that episode, I also saw a "product placed" guitar controller from Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
Do any pro racing organizations get into licensing games like the NHL and NFL have?
I have not heard of any pro racing organizations that have games out for the Wii but I sure would be interested in trying my hand at NASCAR on the Wii.
I've played it and its a lot of fun. I'm not really good with the steering wheels though! It is something that you have to get used to, nothing like driving a real car with the steering wheel.
I just played this last night on a Wii and it was tons of fun! We did use the wheel and it was so much fun! I absolutely loved it.I might try to get one for Christmas or something like that.
I have been wondering how those steering wheels have worked out and am tempted to go and buy a set now that I hear you all giving them good reviews. The kids really like the racing games.
My daughter loves Mario Cart. She plays the game without the wheel though. She feels the wheel makes it harder. She ends up crashing a lot with it.
