    GP2 Launches New Chassis

The GP2 series unveiled the new chassis design that will be implemented in 2008. It is the first major chassis revision since the series began in 2005

Nelson Piquet Junior tested the new car at Paul Ricard on Tuesday, running for 60 laps without any problems. The new design features a revised engine and gearbox with parts that are generally lighter, stronger and easier to maintain.

Why can't I test one of those

And the old chassis are going to be raced in an Asian winter series if I recall correctly. Probably in an effort to try and kill off A1GP, or something.

I hope they don't kill off A1GP. I just really like the car design. I'm thinking that between the 2 series that GP2 defiantly has the better backing and publicity though. I guess since it's essentially Formula 3000 redone so it kinda has more history. I like A1GP's point system, nation points rather than driver. I still like a Driver/Constructor battle best.
