    Markus Niemel? to GP2

    Finn Markus Niemel? (23) will take the seat Sakon Yamamoto left on BCN-Team.

    This season Niemel? has been racing in Asia Formula Renault series, where he's competed in 4 starts catching 2 wins and one second place.
    2007 WRF Prediction League Champion
    2008 WRF Prediction League Runner-up
    2008 Frontwing Fantasy League Champion??? (kareem, ohoy? )

    That's great, he's been a race winner in every class of his career so far (FFords, Formula BMW and Formula Renault 2.0) so it's good he gets a shot.

    And he seems to be a nice chap too as I had some email correspondence with him a year or so ago regarding some Formula Ford stats and he was most helpful.

    Yeah. He is a nice guy and I am sure he will keep moving up the ladder. Formula 1 one day?

    He is a great young driver. Until now he has proven that he has what it takes to make a good carrer in the motorsport world. I wish him all the best and maybe we will see him in Formula 1
