    Helio - yeah or nay

So what do you all think about Helio Castroneves (and I may have the name spelling wrong here). One of my friends adores him. I thought he was great on Dancing with the Stars, but I'm not sure if he didn't get away with something with that tax fraud thing. What do you think of Helio?

Helio is a great driver as well as a great dancer. I have always had my suspicions about the tax fraud issue though. My biggest issue is that there are a lot more people out there that should be tried (and convicted) for the very same thing.

I say let him focus with driving. Dancing on TV shows will just make him more popular and the media likes to scrutinize famous people (look what happened with Tiger).

I just hate media today, why don't they just tell us the good news. Besides why do I care if ever he really made a tax fraud? I will just let the tax collector do his job.

Well he is kinda cute in a nerdy sort of way but then again I am a geek. Tax wise, whatever, who knows if he would get blown over for being famous or not, but then again taxes are taxes. We only know a few things, we are born, we live, we die and we gotta pay taxes.

I agree, that it would be best if he were to just stick with racing. I don't understand the move of sports folks into becoming celebrities by competeing on these celeb reality show-esque sorts of things.

What about the celebrities who get into politics, that seems to be just as bad. I can get that people want to do different things in their life, but I can never go to CA and not think "oh this is the terminators state", you know? Its just a little too weird for me. Most people have natural talents and stick with what they are good at.

Money -- power -- fame. Those three motivators will get a lot of people to do a lot of things that seem unusual. At the same time, I really do think some people do it to have fun.

You reminded me of President Reagan, he was an actor before becoming a president. Will you vote for the terminator if ever he runs for presidency?

I guess people get bored so often that they are not contented with what they are currently doing. Maybe this is the reason why athletes goes to acting and actors goes to politics. Are there any politicians going to sports after a finished term?

LOLOL that would be funny. I think it's okay to become involved in something new, however I think the key is that the older experience doesn't automatically give them credence to work at a high level in something else.

People have thought that the tax thing was a conspiracy or whatever for many reasons. Whether it was or not we will likely never know.
