Did anyone watch race #1 of 2010?

I tried to watch this the other day, but I just couldn't get into the Indycar race. I have no idea who won even. It just bored me. I think they need a better opener than a road course.

I did not watch the first race. I have a hard time getting into the Indy Car series. To me it just does not seem as exciting as Nascar.

Oh, it's not. IndyCar is better than F1, but it is far from being anything at all like NASCAR. It really doesn't excite me much. They do have some nasty accidents.

We are not privy to such fine tv coverage in the great White North, or at least I was unable to find anything.
I don't mind IRL (now that Tony George does not have his grubby paws allover it), but only on road and street courses, beside Indy (which actually and sadly is just a shadow of its former glorious self), but I'm still sore at how they raped and pillaged CART.

    Golden Opportunity for Indycar

Indycar could give a big boost to its fanbase, with a few more good races priior to the Indy 500. Right now NASCAR is in peril until it becomes possible for more than one car to win, which clearly isn't happening at the present time.

Sorry NASCAR fans, but I will always value the Indianapolis 500 as America's biggest race every year.
